Press
Drag an axis. The name above moves with it. This is the variable file, live, nothing pre-rendered.
A quick brown press proofs five dozen liquid glyphs.
ImpressionTrapFolioStock
An ink-trap workhorse that remembers the letterpress.
Press began as a revival of a 1928 foundry text face and ended somewhere else. The optical-size axis does real work here: at 6pt the traps flare and the contrast flattens so the colour holds on cheap stock; at 96pt the same drawing tightens into a high-contrast display serif. It is the face we set this paragraph in.
